Member Spotlight: Time Is on Your Side

The relentless pursuit of education never stops for some professionals, no matter where they may be in their career's tenure—especially for those who change or take on additional roles. NACM's Professional Certification Program gives credit professionals that exact opportunity. With six levels of education that start with the basics of credit all the way up to credit law and international credit, credit professionals can create their own path that suits their interests.

The Credit Business Associate (CBA) is the first level out of the six offered in the certification program. Michael Campbell, CBA, is a credit manager at Convergint Technologies LLC (Houston, TX). He said he is grateful for his team at NACM Southwest and their help in guiding him throughout his journey. "I am super happy to earn my CBA because I'd been procrastinating going for it for almost 10 years," he said. "I decided it was now or never. After taking a break in studying, I plan to pursue the Credit Business Fellow (CBF) designation."

💡Study tip from Campbell: "Reading can seem overwhelming, but it's important to keep your end-goal in the forefront of your mind to keep you motivated and never give up!"
